Happy Chinese New Year, everyone! The Year of the Snake :D I'd put Vega (haz awsm snake tattoo!) and the other Chinese SF guys in there but I didn't have time to figure out how to integrate them. I definitely wasn't going to include Lee though - he's too Fu Manchu for my liking :/

I should also note that I used references - especially for the text since I'm no pro with Chinese calligraphy (had mum check it too LOL)

This is gorgeous. Everything about it. The motion and the bright colors and the set up make it feel like a parade. And that dragon :love:

I wanna ask, though, what is Chun-li holding? I should know this, but I don't >///<

Thanks again, hun X3 She’s actually holding a ball for the ‘lion’ to chase. There are different styles of Chinese Lion Dances and the costumes and props vary, but some will have one of the performers holding a ball for the lion and leading it on in the parade :)

So of course I had to look up videos of the dance, and....:iconthatssocoolplz: They're awesome!! The lions are so stupid-cute and happy and I just wanna be one. I'm a little ashamed of myself, though. I worked in a gift shop that sold statues of different Chinese figures for half a year, so I should know the difference betweeen a lion and a dragon :dead:

Also, I can so see Yun and Yang arguing over who would be the head. X3

We count the years differently, why not the seconds? The minutes? How about memory? For one mega give me a giga, and I have a pico and A nano that is so much larger/smaller than I can see... Time is the first/II? three illusions
