Ken Masters (Alpha)

Soooo when was the last time I drew some Street Fighter? Like 1/4 yr ago heh..  I rarely get motivated to draw certain characters and Ken is one of them (something to do with him being my husband's main and fav... urrrr....) but I just saw Assassin's Fist recently and o. m. g. I was just so impressed.  It actually made me care a bit more about these characters who aren't anywhere near in my favs

Went with Ken coz I found him more relatable out of the lot in that series.  I tried really, really hard to capture his raw, fiery spirit, which is what I think his fiery shoryuken represents in contrast to the more calm and collected Ryu.  His eye is only yellow because of the fire reflecting in it, not coz I 'changed' it   I did use bits of footage from the series for references especially in poses and constructing a face similar to Christian Howard's - as a tribute to his brilliant portrayal of the character   Think I got a bit carried away with the "raw/fiery" idea and went crazy with the background... eh...
