Lord Shen

Any Kung Fu Panda fans?  I know it's for kids but I still found it highly enjoyable - particularly how well thought out the characters were.  I think Shen, the peacock prince would have to be one of the best villains... his attitude, mannerism and dat fan tail flick when he's fighting... WOOOOH!!!  Gary Oldman did a fine job bringing the character to life too!

Because I've been turning human characters into animals lately, I decided to reverse this one.  Tried my best to allude to his showy peacock attributes, while being more or less accurate with the period costume details and elements: flicked through my classical Chinese story picture books; watched more Chinese period dramas than I should lol plus I'm not the only artist to have personified this character - special mention to feimo who's version inspired me very much
