can I commission u to draw juri like this style but in peril by another villain im looking for artist to draw her in peril I have hired many already with famous villians such as venom gogo yubari from kill bill and lord jagi from fist of the north star I like to see u draw her caught by the shredder from tmnt note me if interested thanks
well if u can take commissions later on let me know and is it possible u could note me this juri picture and that cammy in bisons picture without the watermark if u can't do it for free how much i just love those pictures but hate when watermarks ruin there background worthy affect it would be a great wallpaper on my ps3 or desktop if watermark didn't ruin the image
I'll post something up when I'm available for commissions. With regards to watermarks, I have a policy of not posting anything up without it because of unscrupulous individuals… it’s just a pity that the actions of a few have forced some of us artists to do this. I currently do not sell my fan arts either. Sorry again and I hope something can be arranged between us in the future ^^”
darn i wish u sold it atleast because although your sharing art its not being truly seen with its full potential when watermarks block the characters image its like those annoying tv watermarks on favorite tv shows its like man i got to buy the dvdset to truly enjoy this show without watermarks but sadly i can't buy a un watermarked version of this beautiful art oh its like a God awful tease knowing i can't see the true quality image
Haha yes, I get mixed feelings looking back at these old drawings XD On the one hand, they are still important for me to keep round because I can see what progress I’ve made and these were definitely milestones at the time; on the other hand, since I’ve figured out how to do certain things better and I’m more confident with my style, these really look substandard and people who don’t look at them in context and just see the new stuff and then this get all shocked and confused because they look so different D: Makes me wonder what I will be thinking of my current “best works” in a year’s time if I do manage to improve more… that’s the problem with being self taught. But really, I rely so much on the feedback because people like yourself can see faults where I can’t, because I get tunnel vision when I work on a piece for so many hours LOL So, many thanks again ^^
I know what you mean. When I look at stuff from a few years ago, I cringe x_x But I know to keep some of them because it's nice to have those records of progress. What kind of tablet do you use? I'm trying out digital works but it feels tedious to me at times and that my process is very sloooow. :/ Either I just need to keep practicing or find new techniques, or I just prefer traditional art.
Yes exactly XD I use the wacom bamboo pen and touch [link] It’s the baby/lite version of their range and mine is actually the older model to the one in the link – nothing fancy and good for portability I know what you mean when starting on digital – are you already using the tablet? Drawing with mouse isn’t the best and I only use it for shading large areas. It takes time to get the hang of the tablet and took me a whole month to “learn to draw again” LOL! But key is to be patient and persistent If you’re not comfortable with drawing at this stage, it’s not a bad idea to stick with traditional methods till you feel more confident because it trains your eye and hand coordination, as well as learning to judge proportion and shade values by eye (which is actually harder to do on computer because you would mostly be working at a zoomed scale and not looking at your work as a whole.)
Ah, thank you for the link and the advice! I don't have a tablet so everything I do is by hand on paper. I scan into the computer. I've been practicing some digital coloring and experimenting with things like layers and all that stuff. I mean, I'm not by any means saying a tablet makes it easy, because you definitely need to be comfortable drawing on paper, but I feel like a tablet will make the transition from outline to digital a lot more convenient.
You’re welcome! Yes, exactly right – tablets aren’t meant to make drawing easier per se, because they have their own problems compared to traditional tools… It just helps to give you a more natural/intuitive feel when especially doing line work, which when done with a mouse is quite clumsy looking and inefficient. I find myself switching between the mouse and the stylus though depending on what part of the process I’m doing. If I’m lining and drawing fine details, it will be the stylus and you can adjust the settings so that it’s sensitive to pen pressure which is quite nice. However, when I’m block colouring or erasing large areas, I go for the mouse because I don’t need it to be that precise.
If you haven’t already got a program like photoshop or similar, I’d suggest you try to obtain it sooner rather use mspaint or something. It’s far better to start getting the feel for how these programs work so that you can better figure out your techniques and style, rather than be limited by the basic tools in paint (or worse pick up bad habits there >< )
Why? Why?! WHY!!!!!!???? WHY DO such kind of girls that make you turn your head twist and say "YES!! THIS IS DELICIOUS!!!" never exist in real life? Why do have I to satisfy myself with spotted girls? WHY? WHY? WHY!????? LOL
