Vega. No reason...

Other than purely for self-indulgence, but I really appreciate the human form though and there’s just something about nudes and semi-nudes that I find beautiful – they're an expression of human beauty in the most basic way, mostly focusing on the subtle details of proportion, muscle tone etc... it's a statement that the body itself is a work of art.  I also like the idea that nude art can be sensual without being obscene.  Was aiming for something similar to classical/renaissance style nudes (imagining that’d be the sort of thing Vega would pose for haha)  References used.

I have said that my purpose for drawing was mainly to relax and distract myself from work stress and stuff… really needed to do this one to distract me from added pregnancy discomfort now that I’m into my final trimester and I sure did take my sweet time about it XD
